28th September

Every 9 minutes someone dies from rabies.

Like you, we think it's time to put an end to the untold pain, suffering and thousands of deaths caused by rabies, every single year.

We can stop children dying from this entirely preventable disease and let them dream of their future. We can protect the countless thousands of dogs that die from rabies each year or are harmed due to fear of this terrible disease, so they can live happy lives as part of our communities.

Science shows that the most effective way to control rabies is through vaccination of dogs in places where rabies is endemic. That is why we head to rabies hotspots and run mass vaccination and education programmes, protecting both people and animals.

Together, we can be the generation to eliminate rabies for good.

Do something AMAZING and get involved with our World Rabies Day fundraising challenge.

How can I get involved?

Your incredible support will SAVE LIVES, helping our teams to deliver more life-saving vaccinations and educate communities on rabies prevention.

Let's make rabies a thing of the past!

Run, row, or ride to fight rabies!

Run, row, or ride to fight rabies!

Whether you'd like to run, row, or ride the distance, you'll be raising vital funds to protect people and dogs from rabies. You can take part as an individual or take on the challenge as a team.

How to take part:

  1. Decide whether you'd like to run, ride (bike or horse) or row for the challenge.
  2. Choose your distance - whatever you feel you can do!
  3. Set up a JustGiving fundraising page and share with your friends and family

You can complete your distance over just one day, or over the course of the month. It's up to you!

If you raise over £100 we will even send you a Mission Rabies T-shirt to say thank you!

...and that's it. Now all you need to do is have fun!

Thank you for being a fundraising hero; your support will help end rabies for good, changing the lives of people and animals worldwide.

Good luck with the challenge. You ROCK.
